COVID-19 and Your Orthodontic Care!
According to the CDC and simply put, there are three main symptoms of COVID19: fever, cough and shortness of breath. All of which are symptoms similar to the common flu/cold. We ask that YOU DO NOT come into the office for your scheduled appointment is you are experiencing any of these symptoms. If you show any of the above signs whether from the flu or any other viral agent, we ask you to stay home. If you come to a scheduled appointment with these symptoms, we will ask that you go home and reschedule when you are feeling better. Your safety and our employee’s safety are our priority. We will work with you to reschedule your appointment to keep you on track with your orthodontic treatment.
With regards to facemasks, we are a mask optional orthodontic office. Our front desk and administrative staff are not wearing masks at this time. We are not asking patients or families to wear masks. At this time it’s your personal choice of whether or not you want to be masked. To be clear, our clinical staff will be in masks as part of their personal protective equipment which has always been a part of universal precautions for orthodontic practices.
If you are uncomfortable waiting for your appointment in the office, you may call us from your vehicle. We will call you when Dr. Wiggins is ready to see you. Again, thank you for your patience and understanding during this ever changing viral environment. If you have any concerns, please feel free to address them directly with us.

We have “Administrative Days” which take place every other Monday or Friday. When this occurs there is a staff member who is in the office to answer your phone calls; however, patients are not seen on these “Administrative Days”.
We have “VP days” which occur when Dr. Wiggins is away from the office for continuing education, conferences, etc. On these days we do have a clinical staff member present in the office that can handle non critical emergencies that do not require Dr. Wiggins’ expertise. For example a pokey wire can be handled by an assistant or the placement of a button that has fallen off on an Invisalign tray.
We are not open on Saturdays!! For some reason it is believed that we are open on all Saturdays which is not the case. We have two Saturdays for the remainder of this calendar year that we will have Saturday morning appointments for adjustments only. You must have an appointment in order to be seen. We have never taken walk in appointments.
